Peace is here, here , here

Mother Nature * The wind blows and touch your flesh like a mother's affectionate touch. It revives your heart and refreshens your soul. The flower petals are dancing at the victory of coolness over the hotness of the June sun. The petals are touching each other at quick intervals..seems like another love story has started. Seems like they want break free from the restricting stem that has imprisoned them to its fatherly domain. But they know that if they get detached from their roots they will be lost and separated..as the stem that was separating the flower was also holding them together. * The slow motion of life..and the fast forward world..make this film spicy and beautiful. * Gone were the days when the eyes fell tears Now the eyes fall the vaporised dues of the condemned soul For heaven shall bestow it's blessings On the love that holds the bridge to peace 'Why' is the question everyone asks Patience is the answer that life gives. * The river water ...

Girl that made me smile

Mussorie dairies So the journey begins. The humdrum of railways gives a thrill to my heart. While we were waiting for our mussorie express at platform 16 a family of four were standing side by..ie a 5 yearish girl, thirtish women, same age man, new bornie. The young girl was carrying or I should say waving proudly her packet of snacks. She glanced at me. And gave a  beautiful smile. I smiled back. She showed me her packet of chips. I smiled once more. She shown with delight. Nagged her parents..mummy..mummy..Didi. "papa..papa..Didi." how adorable she looked. She stole my heart. And when she saw those police men on round..she screamed.."police,police,police!" Her father said"You wanna be in police?" She nodded proudly. And I noticed her proudly..seeing me in her. Her father asked "which one?" She inquired,"I can be of any colour?" Her father,"of course!!" She said,"I wanna be pink!" He said,"yeah dar...

Kagazon ki cheekh (part 1)

Humari kahaani Do taraf ki khaamoshi Kuch khali panne Jinmein chuppi thi baatein ankahi Kabhi dukh hota hai Toh tera hasta chehra Yaad kar leti hoon Aur muskurahat khud aa jaati hai Aisa lagta hai Jaise pehle ka naata hai tumse Tum haste ho Toh mai muskurati hoon Tum rote ho toh Mai subakti hoon Tumhare bina beeta har lamha Tumhari yaad dilata hai Tumhari tasveer se kyu Aajkal mai baatein karti hoon? Raat ki sone se pehle kyu tumhein Yaad karti hoon Tum paas hote ho Toh kyu anjaan banti hoon. Tum sachmein Woh paidaan ho Joh khushiyon ki oor jaata hai Aur mei Woh dhool Joh tumein Sama jaati hoon. Dil ko naye zakhm dene pade Puranon ka dard chupane ke liye. Aur yeh silsila dauhrata gya Jab mohabbat se vishwaas uth hi chuka tha Jab gulaab ka phool mehakana chorh chuka tha Woh meri dehleez par apni kacheri ki arzi le aaya mohabbat aur gulaabon mein umang le aaya Rakhwala hai woh meri muskurahat ka Aur daasi hai meri muskurahat uski chahat ki. Mai shayad w...

Is war a solution?

The pulwama attack brought with itself a huge storm of anger and anguish among the citizens. They wanted an answer. They wanted revenge. And that was right of them to do so. But, what did our leaders and media do to this. They lighted  the already dry stick. To increase their trp and to increase their votes they showed their dark side, and pretending themselves to be patriots, proliferated something that was in a nutshell taking our country to turmoil. Is it necessary, that to prove our point we need to show our physical strength? Words have much more power. It's time, that we behave in a civilised and intelligent way. War is not a solution. It is even a greater problem. Are the tears of the mother who lost her son different across the border's? Is the colour of blood flowing rivers different across the borders. The lines on the land would soon be drawn on people's flesh. The clouds in sky would be replaced by smoke. The streets full of laughter would be shaken with cries....

The night's ring

Standing alone in the dark He shines and laughs and cries Reciting his anecdotes to the Lovers lost in the night's demise The city lights too dim To steal the glamour from him Yes, the moon is one For earth and for us But, this is the moon of Delhi Who has not got stars as his ally Just, a few smokey clouds Struck on it, like cavities in mouth. He found his home in couplets and songs But something went wrong The dark sky got jealous of the moon Sent the gales of darkness To the florescence that was immune But the charm of the moon, stood still Not even his beard twitch Insolent, the moon Shone in the storm Darkness eloped like a worm The sky, asked the moon To reveal his secrets The mysteries, the regrets Smiled the moon, played his flute Heard by many, listened by some Secrets too enchanted to be revealed what more could he have concealed? He shone like crystals on the sky Like a ring on the little black girl's hands Worn-out, dark but beautiful ...
